About

My mission

My mission is to help you achieve your French language goals.

My story

Once I was literally Lost in Translation. I just arrived in Tallinn, Estonia, and I was learning the language. As I finished my first book of lessons, I wanted to talk. Therefore, I made a deal with an Estonian student. She was studying French at Tallinn University. I would help her with French studies, and she would talk with me in Estonian.

However, one of us was progressing, the other wasn’t. At first, I didn’t understand why. I won’t tell you who was who. However, I understood that speaking a native language doesn’t mean that you can teach it. This led me to Didactics of Languages. And since then, I’ve been passionate about it. My goal is to develop a tailored strategy, finding the right method for each learner.

Who am I?

For the past 10 years, I have worked as an Educational Engineer and French as a Foreign Language teacher at the Institut Français d’Estonie. I have helped students of all levels achieve their French language goals, whether professional, academic, or personal.

In 2015, I obtained the DAEFLE from the Alliance Française de Paris, and in 2021, I completed a Master’s degree in pedagogical engineering, specialising in the use of digital technology for language teaching and learning, with the University of Grenoble Alpes.

Certified as a DELF examiner since 2018 and DALF examiner since 2019, I bring insider knowledge to exam preparation, having helped numerous students achieve their certification goals.

For the past 5 years, I have also been working with a start-up on the creation and development of websites.

I also hold a Master’s degree in Art History, with a major in film and audiovisual studies, from the University of Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne.
